I like First Communion the most of the three photos. I wish it had been shown as a vertical, but I think it will work well with a bit of the left hand side cropped off. It has a sort of sensitive, contemplative quality to it. Very soft tones and subdued lighting, and sort of appropriate for a Communion photograph. I'm not so keen on the reverse-vignette, but it's not egregious. This picture could be processed in a couple different ways. I think maybe darkening the corners, instead of lightening them, might work quite well.
The Fulton Street train shot...ehhh..I have "seen this" hundreds of times. The excessive contrast, leading to burned out highlights....just not doin' it for me...sorry. Second train photo...I dunno...looks excessively contrasty, and the brown building seems to compete with the railcar for my attention...it's an "okay" shot, but not what I would want to look at for any length of time.
***Addendum**** Okay, I went to FLickr and looked at the 2nd train shot in LARGE size. It's better larger. What I think is the SKY and those trees are ruining the shot....crop those two elements mostly out, and the "rail station" aspect becomes MUCH stronger, and clearer!!! it's the bald sky that was killing it for me.
