So went down to bluffton today and snapped of a few I am starting to get a better eye for things but I'm just not sure about these so please any suggestions are welcome!

Noob here, but this is my opinion :)

#1 The bottle feels too blown out. I realize it's supposed to be drawing attention, but it just looks like the flash was too bright. If the background was more detailed/brighter and the contrast between the two wasn't as huge I think it'd be better.

#2 Nice lighting, the colors are nice too, the rust on the mobile is excellent. However I'm not sure what the subject is in this shot -- there is too much going on and you can't see the statues face.

#3 Again I like the colors and the lighting is much better here, the red and blue in the tackle box are great. You have an excellent eye for color! Again though I feel like the shot is just a bit off, it feels too narrow. I find myself wanting to see more of the tackle box.

Where is Bluffton ? all i see is bottles

Thanks for numbering your images, so my 0.02¢...

#1. Snapshot - there is no obvious emotion or story here and this does nothing for me.
#2. As has been said - message is unclear, those orange letters hanging down hide the statue's face and the image becomes a somewhat cluttered mess. If it had just been the statue in the garden then probably would have been better.
#3. Three bottles in a toolkit and a very distracting background that draws the viewers attention away from the subject (the bottles?) - 'nuff said.

You might want to google "photography composition guidelines" on the web and have a look through the first dozen or so entries.

Cheers,

I like the bright colors it makes the photo more attractive.

I would have liked the 2nd one better if the letters curved over the statue instead of blocking the view of it.
