Three Sunrise Shots

These were taken at Sunrise near my house here in Utah... C&C please (and as always keep it nice )

there was just a little post-processing with Photoshop... just adjusting the contrast levels.

I'm by far from an expert, so take these comments with a grain of salt.

#1 - I love the color of the sky, but I find the foreground dark and distracting.
#2 - I think the duck is to out of focus. Reminds me of one of those loc-ness monster pictures.
#3 - My favourate out of the lot. I personally like the way this one was done.

I like #1 the best (and I do like it alot). I agree that the duck should have been in better focus, otherwise it would be excellent. #3 doesn't really speak to me.

I'm impressed that you can wake up for sunrise shots

I am really bummed that the duck was out of focus, otherwise this would have been an awesome photo. The out of focus duck totally ruins that one for me.

The last one has good exposure and color, but is a little boring for me. I have seen way to many photos of just sky and clouds. But technically speaking, it is a good photo.

I'll try a little bit of cropping on number one to see if I can fix it a little.
I was really bummed about the out of focus duck too... it looked just right from where I was, and in the full picture, it doesn't look quite so oof. but in a way it kind of works for me, personally... but I'm biased

I like that better. When I first saw it, I thought it should have been a landscape photo, and you changed it, so now I'm happy.
