Thrift store score

Down at the local thrift store earlier and picked up an Olympus OM10 in good nick, with 8 lenses and an external flash for $20. Nice! Most of the lenses are pretty mediocre, but the big surprise was a Sigma 16mm f/2.8 fisheye! I've already bought an OM to EOS adapter from ebay and can't wait to get that sucker on my 5d

At a thrift store in Calgary north I once found a nikkor 35-70 f2.8 AF-d with not a mark on it with an asking price of $20. It had a pretty dirty UV filter cross threaded on the front of it. I asked young fellow with the hat on sideways who was minding the store if he had it priced correctly. He immediately started giving me attitude and doing some sort of weird hip hop 'chit' and talking weird. I offered $10 and walked out the store with a perfectly useable pro level zoom. Used it for 5 years and sold it for well over $500. The finds are out there but they are rare.

That's a great score. If the other lenses are OM Zuiko lenses they are actually pretty decent glass. I've got some for my old OM2 and was always pretty happy with them.

Sweet, dude! Oly made some nice lenses, and nifty cameras. Now, this business about EIGHT LENSES and a flash for $20....cough,cough....knock that off!!!

Yeah, its a nice deal! I'm all over the 8 lenses and camera for 20 bucks, but really i'm jusst stoked about the fisheye, that is gunna be fun!
