Through the windshield

Where I grew up on the New York/Canadian border, Black Phase Gray Squirrels were common. In the 40 years I've lived in Central Pennsylvania I've only seen a few. I was leaving the area I was hiking, which is down a steep canyon, when this one scampered across the road. Managed 3 quick shots through the truck windshield(which I had just cleaned the day before) before it disappeared in the understory up the mountain.

It's been decades since I saw one, or chipmunks for that matter. Nice set!
