Here is a set of Big Thunder Mountain in Disney Land...

Around the back of the ride there was this area where I found this old minor cart

Next to the minor cart was this post with minnie mouse that I just happen to like.

Here is a shot that I happen to like as well. It shows the cave and roller coaster track

Here I caught more of the water fall

The first is very, very good. The somewhat cartoonish treatment of the rail cars contrasts nicely with the very realistic foliage. Exactly the juxtaposition of real and fantasy you'd expect from Disney. Well done.

vipgraphx, your work is inspiring!

I have one suggestion/question though:
On the first picture, the detail all over the photo is really crisp, and even though it looks amazing, I find it quite uneasy on the eye. I cannot "relax" while looking at the railcar, because the DOF is extremely high, and my sight gets drawn by the details in the foliage, background, etc.

Do you ever consider applying a bit of vignette? I often find this to be great for directing focus to the motive of the picture, in this case the railcar...
It doesn't have to be much, actually sometimes I cannot tell if I did or didn't do it, until I check the look without the vignette...

Just a humble suggestion ;)

I disagree. To me, these photo's are like paintings, my eye's wonder around the photos picking up all the details. I think if you put anything out of focus it would be the equivalent of looking at a blurry painting, but then again, that's just my opinion. I enjoy looking at them every time I go back. Very cool indeed.

I had been adding vignette to some of my other recent pictures for these I wanted to leave out the vignette because sometimes I play it out to much and its easy to add it to every image. I am very fond of vignetting thus why I try to mix it in hear and there so its not in every picture.

Good Idea though. Thanks for looking!

Man, I like your work. I very much admire the amount of treatment you give to the photos, surreal. Could you tell me how many shots you are using on these and what intervals? Thanks!

Thanks, these were 5 exposures 1 stop apart -2,-1,0,+1,+2
