Tilt Shift Large Format Shot

It's still way too cold to walk around and shoot outside but I've been itching shoot some large format since I'm still learning the thing.
Shot on a Nagaoka 4x5 with Kodak Portra 160NS. Exposure was somewhere around 20 seconds.

Very nice exposure and perspective control but very shallow DOF, remember Scheimpflug's rule. I do like the car light trails.

Thx for looking guys! Yeah I definitely need to mind the dof. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I'm really happy with the exposure, next time I'm going to focus on hadnling the dof better.

1) Car lights ruin the toy effect, otherwise you get that effect.
2) The toy effect is an annoying effect in general, however. Dunno if you were actually trying for that since you sound surprised at the DOF, though.
3) You should be able to see the DOF you're going to get on the ground glass. Why are you surprised?

I kind of like it. Exposure is good. Scan's fairly clean, only a few spots on it.

Because this was a 20 second exposure it was quite a bit darker in reality, you can tell because street lamps won't glow like that normally. Even with all my lights turned off at home with a magnifier it was pretty difficult to be sure I was even in focus.
