Tim is a subject I've shot before and to me, epitomizes our local fishing industry as a whole. He's a gnarly old soul, strong as an ox, quick to opinion, smokes like a chimney, and works harder than any three of the rest of us, pretty much 6 days a week. Tim doesn't work on Sundays, won't abide by cussing or taking the Lord's name in vain. He is as kind as he is hard.

I just couldn't get into a position where I could capture him and his errant elbow. Dockside when a boat is being unloaded is semi-controlled chaos. Everyone is moving and the crew chief's instructions to me were pretty simple. "We don't stop our routine for anyone; forklifts have right-of-way over anything and they do not watch where you are, only where they are." These guys were offloading tuna by hand which weighed in between 80-110lbs. Maybe this will give you a better picture of my shooting conditions.

Do appreciate your remarks, and not trying to make excuses...and this set was a trial run to see what else I was going to have to do to get the whole picture... I need to be on a hoist so I can move overhead at will...not gonna happen.
