Tipps for manual focus

manual focusing on my nikons sucked.

focus peaking changed my life.

I strongly think about getting a KatzEye for my D750.

KatzEye has given up the ghost, though, no longer making screens. :(

I was really torn about getting one on my D7000, as I have two legacy lenses I like to play with and that split-image would make those so much faster to use! On my F4, I finally found a K screen and that convinced me I had to find a split-image for the D7000. This was last December, and when I loaded the site I saw the notice that they'd done their last and final production run.

I found focusingscreen.com, which is in Taiwan, and they list the D750, they have 5 screens for it. It looks like they adapt existing standard Nikon screens. the D750 screens show a price of 2800 New Taiwan Dollars, which is about 87 bucks US. looks like they's ship for about 7 bucks for a 2-week delivery, and almost 25 for 5 days.
