To BW or not

Any C&C about these two images is most welcome. Do you prefer the B&W version or colour? Any other suggestions or comments?

The black and white is extraordinary. The color is nicely done, but not nearly as dramatic.

Somehow softness and b&w never go well in my books. But that's just my preference.

b/w all the way. The texture and tone just work better in b/w IMO. I'm drawn into the whole picture with b/w instead of searching around and stuck at the bottom with the color.

I like the B&W but find the lack of anything being sharply in focus and the crooked horizon to be quite distracting.

B&W, but it seriously lacks sharpness.

First one for me, definitely. The reason is this -- the main features to me are the sky and how the ocean is almost like a mist around the rocks. B&W brings that out; color just distracts.
