I just finished this, and I know I still have a long way to go on my composite work, but I am gaining on it.

three suggestions.
Have the torso more defined and separated from background.
Show a bit of the face
Have the 'thing' erupt from a seam rather just out of blank 'wall'

I really regretted not showing some of the face in this, and I also thought the torso blended into the background a little too much, but I noticed after I thought I was done. I had been staring at this too long, and that slipped through.
I wanted the sunset to "erupt" more like it had been "let out" or something, but I just couldn't figure out how to do that. Any ideas?
I think I will most likely make a redo of this when I have a little more time, I like it, but I feel I could do much better.
