So was at the pond again today during lunch trying to perfect my DIF's. Getting better and capturing them a little closer so got a bit sharper images. Still room for improvement. I did screw up a bit though. Since I was capturing them closer I wasn't adjusting my aperture so with the mating shots I wasn't getting everything in sharp focus. The pond at work doesn't have any fish so all I see are ducks and tons of geese. So it was a nice surprise, as I was tracking the dragonflies, that I caught sight of a Great Blue Heron at the other end. I don't think he was to impressed with the lack of fish and left soon after he arrived.

Anybody know why when you link in images from flickr they are nowhere near as sharp as viewing from flickr?

All these images are much sharper if you click on them.

Not sure about the forum vs flickr issue but these are excellent.

Good shots, Brent! I enjoy seeing these.

You are making DIF look easy and it is definitely not. Wonderful shots.

I wouldn't worry about it Brent, I always click on the photos to view at their fullest.

Great shots Brent! Keep sharing and enjoy shooting :)

Great skill, I click on them too but can appreciate them in both ways. A good shot is a good shot.
