Tokina 11-16 f2.8 for nikon

I like to take pictures of trees. I have a dx camera. This lens gets good reviews. If low light isn't a crucial concern, is there a better alternative for the $. I have a 35 mm, a 55mm and a. 55-200 already.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Tokina 11-16 lens. Another forum I frequent has a "Lens Lust" forum and within that a "Lens Sample Archive" where there are running topics for several different lenses with photo's, and peoples opinions of the lenses.

I was a huge fan of it while I had it. Sharp, small, built pretty well, and I felt like you got a lot of lens for the price [emoji106]

I rented one for a few days and it produced some really good images. The only issue i had was the focus lock mechanism. I would accidentally bump it off focus when pulling it out in order to cut the auto focus off.
