Tonight's Sunset -- WOO!

I drive by this location Every. Single. Day. And never shoot there. It's hidden behind some trees, but it's honestly about 35 feet off the road. I stepped off the wooded part and into the marsh and instantly sunk up to my knees--pure sludge! Found a log I could perch myself on, setup the gear, and shot away.

It is! I've always told myself I'm going to photograph there, and when I finally did it all came together. It's not perfect, but I feel like I'm making progress in shooting, composition, and post-processing.

Hate to be such a newb, but what is attached with the 2 cords? 1 must be shutter release, but the other??
just got a soft filter GND (2 stop?) and HiTech holder. Hopefully I am getting the right gear..

It's just one cord for a wireless shutter release--connects to the ten pin and the receiver piece sits on the hotshoe: Vello Wireless ShutterBoss Timer Remote RCW-N1 B&H Photo Video
