Too Dark??

I'm sure there's other methods to overcome this, but that's just how I'd deal with it. Regardless, I like it!

Maybe something like this...
I prefer cillie's second shot-its a great image. It is subtle and has more impact and is more dramatic than the shot below. Cillie's second shot portrays a sense of forboding and isolation (like bats and vampires could be dwelling within)

Almost.. I would use the sky from this one:

and the castle from yours:

The sky is too washed out in that one, but the castle looks good.

Who knows, maybe if you did put them together like I mentioned, it might not look as dark and evil.. which I like also.
