Total Newbie. Some thoughts? Improvements?

Great shot but it looks like your camera, or you, focused on the hands.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree, the focus is sharp on the hands but blurry on the face. Personally, I almost always prefer a person's eyes to be in focus.

Thanks! It was a quick spur of the moment shot before she fell backwards. I tried to gaussian blur it to help, but it didn't!
