TPF Slowing down

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing slow load times on TPF. I have my favorite tabs with a few sites and for my pictures flicker and 500px but when I click my favorites tab for TPF it hangs, its been doing this for the last couple days and hangs there and won't open unless i hit the tab a second time.Once on it also does this if I click on a alert or forums and new threads.I Cleared all my caches even deleted the fav tab signed back in and still does this. I am not having this problem on other sites at all so I know its not my internet connection.Is there an issue with the TPF server or something?

I was having issues with Chrome for a few weeks, but it wasn't just TPF. Switched to FireFox and all has been well, i'm on a MAC.

i do. But usually because i process at the same time so have two editors going. Everything hangs and slows down.

Yes, sometimes the site gets jammed and I have to restart my computer to unblock things. This problem doesn't seem to occur on any of the other websites I visit, so I assume it is a TPF problem.

No problems on my PC at work or my Mac at home. And may I say, this site has, by far, the best looking interface of any forum I've seen. A lot of the other forums still look like they did in the early 90's. This has a very clean, smooth look and runs well.

FYI for the uninitiated. TPF has a secret Porn Detection Cookie that they send to you browser. If it detects that you are looking at porn it reports that site back so the Mods and Terri can look at the porn you are viewing to determine if it is of interest to them. To give them all a chance to look at the porn you are viewing, it slows down the response time from TPF so you spend more time waiting thus giving them more time to look at PORN!!!

And what about big-eyed, large furry animals? Do they count in this?

You're in CT - you should know, by now, that all that traffic in NYC really chokes the freeways - digital and otherwise.

Maybe that's the problem. Squeezing those large furry things though those teeny tiny fiber optic stands must gum up the works pretty much.
