It's under "Thread Tools" at the top right of the thread window.

I dont want to subscibe to threads, i want to subscribe so i can post images directly onto this site.

Do you already host your images somewhere like Flickr? If you do, just paste the image URL between the

tag. Like this

Well the host is Flickr. I'm not sure what the "subscribe" is unless it has something to do with being a paid member, which I am not. The majority of posters on here are unpaid and posting images all the time though.

If you wish to become a paid subscriber to the site you can follow this link here: http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/payments.php
(found near the bottom of the forum main page).

However you do not need to be a subscribed member to post photos here - if you are using a hosting service such as flickr or photobucket you can use the direct URL of the photos and place them between image tags to show them here. For flickr you just select the photo you want to post - click the photo once in flickr to bring up the sizes menu and select the size you want to post. Then on the new page that opens you right click the photo and copy the "url" or "Address" line in the properties tab.

Then you put it between image tagss like so:

[ img ] paste link here [ /img ]

without the spaces

Um ok so unless this is Opera being broken with flash driven things - er what is supposed to happen when you click the "image" icon and upload the photos - I get as far as uploaded - click upload and then - nothing once they are uploaded?
