I missed my opportunity to catch the sunrise over the city by leaving my sd cards at the house. It was a nice one. :(
I pass by the rail yard on my way home to get the memory for the cam, and thought I'd come back and snap a number of shots in the early light.

I captured one that I thought was interesting, practicing the rule of thirds. Also practicing on pp, I think I over did it on color enhancing.

I also screwed up with the noise created by leaving the iso at 1600 from playing around last night in the dark. ::bangs head into wall::

Anyhow I'm curious as to how you folks would suggest I compose this shot. I'll show both before and after pp.

btw....This is my 1st posting for c&c

Let me know how you really feel about it. I'm tough skinned.

white balance looks off, too much saturation and noise, as you have already noted. The pole on the far right is distracting, I'd at least crop that out.

I am also new.. but what i feel is that it is over edited.. the color of the door swiched to grainy multicolor..

Thanks for the comment Sam. I'll have to shoot this again at iso 200 instead of the the 1600 that is. That attributes to the grainy/noisy look that you see.

As far as how it's composed... any constructive criticism to give?

the crop is better to me, I'd frame just a little bit higher too so that the bottom of the frame lines up just below the left corner of the building. Also if you go back try positioning yourself just a bit more to the left so that the right corner of the roof isn't clipped. :)
