The perspective might be considered a bit boring, but I like it. I took a few pictures of the site, including arty macro style ones on the cross and whatnot, and I think this is still the best.

i really like it. The composition is perfect, i like how the shodows lead into the miidle of the frame too. Great photo.

thats a nice shot, lots of rich tones, this is a winner :) Definately not boring, it tells a story!

The only thing I would have done differently is crop out the forest in the background as much as possible (maybe dodge it slightly too). That way more emphasis could be placed on the cross and its shadow.

The memorial is way sharp too :thumbsup:, its a very nice shot!

And, heh, it's not really much of a forest in the actual place, but I see what you're saying, vonnagy. It does have sort of a high horizon but I want to keep the train tracks going off to the upper left there. I tried dodging it a bit today:
