Traveling to France

hey
im going out to france for a week in the summer and was wondering what kind of stuff would be good for a D50 to protect it from theft/plane ride.. I was thinking bringing one lens and body with the battery charger.. Anybody have any past experiences on what works well over there.. ive been there before and ive seen ppl carry around big cameras without being a trouble.. any pointer woudl be great!

Pack it sensibly in your hand luggage. You'll need to spend quite a bit on packing which could survive baggage handlers, so this isn't the way to go.

I just use my Lowepro Reporter bag and stick it in a rucksack with a few books.
