When I was a lttle tyke, we had an illustrated book called The Brownies, Their Book by Palmer Cox. They were mischievous and fascinating little people. I spent hours reading through that book.

Cheers Lez. I now have that book I ordered so will be looking to ID any future ones I get.

It's the Collins Fungi Guide. Boy what a thumper of a tome. Never realised there were so many fungi in the UK.
