Trip suggestions

My fiancé and I are thinking of taking a 3-4 day trip somewhere either in Canada or the states but having difficulties deciding. I want somewhere that has a lot of photo opportunities. I want to go to manhattan but he lived in new jersey for 5 years so manhattan isn't anything special to him, we also thought Vegas but neither are big drinkers/gamblers. I have always been interested in the south and considered New Orleans but not sure what's there. Any suggestions/comments? Thanks!

Nova Scotia in general is an absolutely stunning area for photography. National parks, coast lines, cliffs and gorgeous mountain highways.

+1 on Nova Scotia. I have been there but I was not into photography . I could have taken some kick arse light house photos and other things.

Van is beautiful but we go every year to visit family.
