Haven't finished processing the set, but this is what's done so far. C&C appreciated, still getting the hang of things. Some things may seem overexposed so please let me know, I have two different monitors and they show dramatically different brightness.

7d with either a 24-105 f/4 or 70-200 f/2.8 and 1.4 TC

Rest of set on Flickr at higher resolution, off topic what is a good photo hosting site that will allow direct linking and full resolution uploads ?

Nice shot, but its face is a bit underexposed. If your monitors are showing different "brightness", are they calibrated? If not, then you probably need to do that. If they are calibrated, then you most likely need to re-calibrate them.

I've tried the windows calibration and it says I'm on, but how much can I really trust that ? Could someone correct the exposure and I can adjust my monitor off that. Would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Pretty cat! ;)

I did an exposure correction that should get you closer. It was starting to clip some highlights on the jowl... so didn't go up anymore. Sunlight is awesome, but can be so harsh and hard to deal with.

Edit is on bottom

Based on a single pixel, changes were as follows using the color sampler tool... on a pixel in the white muzzle area.

#1 Original ...... #2 Edit

Does that help?

Not really, I will have to read about it tonight. Does Lightroom 4 have this capability ?

Oops... sorry.. should have mentioned I use Photoshop pretty much exclusively. I believe LR has similar capability, but I haven't used it in so long.. couldn't tell you where...
