Make sure the horizon line is straight in your pictures.

Most of them are just snap shots but I liked the "Church Ope Cove" shot...that one stood out from the rest.

Can you describe what doesn't "work" for you? Do you have any suggestions to get a better image?

Well, the way I would put it is that there is NO centre of interest which would grab the attention of the viewer. As far as suggestions go, don't take the photo unless there is a centre of interest and some visual impact.

The "simple point and shoot" comment implies that the shot is bland from a technical as well as aesthetic standpoint. So, no redeeming qualities beyond snapshot quality, therefore the shot was not worth taking.
