Tripod help.

Hello, I have a budget between 65 USD and 130 USD. The tripods I have looked at are not what I am looking for for.
Below is the specs I want.

At least 60 to 65 inches tall.
Able to rotate a DSLR sideways aka landscape.
Brands interested in are Manfrotto,Slik,Gizo,Etc.
Complete tripod unit.

Recommendations are only based on price and specs mentioned as much as possible. Do more research on actual performance from users prior to purchase as there will be more options in terms of brand preference, materials used (aluminum or carbon fiber), etc. Happy shopping.

I was in your same position and I actually got a Manfrotto MK294A3-804RC2 kit at my local Costco for $130 (available separately on Amazon for $180). It was at my max budget also and kind of an impulse buy. I brought it home and then read the reviews on Amazon. Both the tripod and head unit got favorable reviews (4 & 5 stars; some lower ratings for the head). I played with it a little and am very happy with it as I am just a hobby photographer and compared to the 20yr old Quantary I feel it was a good upgrade. Tho one complaint would be how smooth the pan and tilt operate. I won't be using for video so I feel it will be ok for now. I do have the capability to upgrade the head in the future if needed as it does allow interchangeability.
