I like this better, all the glitter in the first is somewhat annoying.

Yes, you're right about that. The more I compare the two, I now favor the second as well.

What I was trying to do with the first background is; I was attempting to set up a night scene, with that background to mimic stars. I couldn't get the woodland scene constructed as I had hoped, so I gave up on that idea and just shot the subjects straight on for that first shot.

Second shot is probably more in keeping with the "troll" theme, although I haven't ever actually seen trolls in their natural habitat, so just guessing really.

Sometimes we strike oil and move to Beverly ... sometimes we don't. If we did it perfectly all the time it would get boring.
