You are right, but I was limited by the Sun and access to the field. I had to take this from the road and as you can tell by the shadows the Sun is off to the left so I could have taken a shot from the back angle of the truck, but I was more interested in the front of the truck.

Maybe I'll go out in the morning some time so the Sun is on the other side.

Pretty nice. I don't mind the textbook look, which kind of suits this. I'm not crazy about the vignette. Take that with a grain of salt because I have a subjective dislike for really visible vignettes which is not shared by everyone. I just find them distracting. In this image I think it would help more to darken the foreground a bit and perhaps some of the lighter areas in the background.

Ok Here's a new one. Ken you were right about the vignette so I backed that off a bit and darkened the foreground and lightened the background. I also tightened the crop on the left side as it looked a bit unbalanced.

Vignette is still too strong in my opinion. All that darkness at the bottom is a distraction. In a shot like this where the subject is obvious, just some mild burning along the bottom should be sufficient. My personal rule for vignette is if people can tell it's there, then it's too much.

I love this picture. Vingette is a little heavy. But I like the image overall.

Ok I've turned the vignette off, but left the gradient filter that darkens the foreground as I like that.

Haha. Just to monkey-wrench your process: I really liked the vignette. Helped drive my eyes onto the truck. But to each his own.

I like it with aome vignette. Most of my images her one. But I think the initial was too strong

Yeah I guess you need to find the right balance, which might be different for different people.

This is excellent. I'd say darken the sky to a darker gray overall and it's spot on. The sky shouldn't need much.. too much and it would look unnatural.

I would crop away a bit of the left-bottom corner.
