These are a few of about 60 portraits done one after the other at an event that won't be repeated. That said, it's already a done deal, so unless I'm editing stuff in and out, the chair and purse are staying. The chair was used in all the shots, and I wish I'd had one of my posing stools instead, but I traveled about 800 miles each way to do this gig, and the stools didn't make it on the trip, so I made do with what was available. In hindsight, I could have found a dropcloth somewhere to cover it at least, but I'm not going to fret over it at this point. From the positive reactions these folks have given me over their photos, they don't even realize there's a chair in the shots.

I like the light and shadow as is in the first one, actually, but I thank you for your thoughts on that.

It's funny, cuz my first thought was "why the purse?" but the more I look at it, I kinda like the first one with the purse. The second, not so much.

I think I like the first with it, because it lends a street/candid quality to a studio shot, which is an odd dichotomy.

I think the fact that she obviously picked it up and moved it for the third shot says if you knew her her bag is likely something you would notice missing if she was without it.
That makes it a nice addition in #1 for me
