Trump Tower Toronto Canada
by thelearningcurvefoto on Photography Forum

The Trump Tower at 325 Bay Street in Toronto Canada. The 65 storey tower is located on the southeast corner of Bay and Adelaide in the heart of the Toronto Financial District.

Original photography using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 DC Macro OS lens and Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the B&W conversion.

Neat shot! :)

But, Trump infected Canada, as well? Where am I going to move if he gets elected?

I love the contrast - nice job.

Just go south - then there will be a wall between ya. ;)

I really really like the fact you used the word 'infected'
This building was a disaster before it was even started. As we all know, he has the biggest you-know-what on the block (and I don't mean butt or ego) therefore he had to have the tallest hotel/condo in the city. Halfway through the construction, a hotel that was going to be 2 storeys higher was started. The Trump Tower construction was scrapped and the design redone so that it would be 4 floors higher which added a few more years of work to the project.
Then there was this fun and games for the investors (article from late June 2015):
Trump Hotel investors head to court | Toronto Star
If you folks do elect him, WE are going to build a wall along the border to keep YOU out (just kidding but if he is elected and you come up to visit, you have to buy us all beer :trink39: ).

That's crazy, and it sounds just like him. He's a walking disaster and needs to be the center of attention. I really hope the world knows that not everyone in America supports him... Seriously, I wouldn't blame Canada for wanting to build a wall.

That said, the wife and I talked about making a trip up to Toronto sometime, since she has a friend there. We loved it last time we visited. Although, we had no idea it was a Canadian holiday, and we spent two and a half hours trying to get to the top of the CN Tower.

No matter who wins the next election, I'll buy you a beer when we visit. :thumbyo:

I read the article, thanks for linking it.

Trump's partners in the deal sound like the kind of folks who probably once sold used cars on Craig's List, and the plaintiffs are the kind of folks who apparently believe in unicorns and free money.

I'd say they deserve each other, but for the extra load on the courts.

Ah yes the great Canadian holiday tradition of going up the CN Tower :) Weird thing for me about the tower is I see it all the time (kinda hard not to) so it becomes part of the background noise. Every once and awhile I stop and look at it and think "Holy #@&? that thing is incredible!!!!". I take a few pics of it then it returns to the background noise and I repeat the process 6 months later.

My fave pub here in TO is The Only Cafe:

The Only Cafe | Welcome to the Vortex

MASSIVE selection of beer with a great atmosphere.
