Trumpet Vine and Bee

Back East after a long stay in L.A., we headed for the best fish and seafood restaurant I know - Elias Corner, in Astoria , Queens, N.Y. From our table in the garden, last night, I had a view of a trumpet vine and the bees that it attracted.

I've thought about growing trumpet vine for the hummers, but they can quickly become invasive here.
