Trying out the new camera!

Hey guys been a while since I have posted. Just got a new Canon 7D and loving it. Here are some of the first couple pictures. Let me know what you think or what I can do to improve.

Not entirely happy with the macro shots. Maybe its due to my PP though.

forgot to say, i think you should get closer to the "falls" in the first one. seems a bit boring with all the leaves in the way

I agree about being closer but there is a bridge to walk across and any further away it would have been in the picture.

I would try a more diffused light for the macro shots to limit the harsh shadows. The falls shot is a bit over processed for my tastes and looks a bit soft, the lady bug shot is ruined for me by the shadows and the background, and the bee looks over sharpened. I would say you are on the right track, I think you just might be trying to do too many different things at once.
