Hi forum,

Again we are all amateurs and trying, make-up, hair and stylist even this dress and others are hand made.

Have to remove that nasty shadow on photo number 1 (it's a plant shadow)

What is she looking at? Eyes on camera is always better.

#1 has potential given the scene and the model. I think the light, while well lit, isn't very dramatic.

The first one confuses me. Is that a grey door she's standing in front of? Or is it some sort of effect done in post? Either way - silver dress against grey background or PP effect - it seems flat to me.

I like the set up of the second one but I'm not sure why the stylist is there. A butler perhaps, or no one.

The last one is my favorite. Good tones.

#1.. is that selective color? If not, it sure looks like it...everything monochrome but skin and hair? Nice shot.. but that effect kills it.

#2 nice.. but kill the flash reflection on the vehicle.... distracting

#3 skin tones are VERY bright... almost blown out. Needs more light up under the hat... and TILT is seldom a good idea.

This one of the first times I used flashes outdoors (still have to learn allot)

There are three very distinct looks here.

#1 is the only one that really shows off the clothes. I love the background with the dress. There's enough separation between the dress and background, but a little more would not hurt.
#2 is, I think, a little too wide-angle to really work well. The girl is just so very small in the frame. It's a good concept, pushed too far.
#3 does tolerably well on the fabrics, but there's too much going on in the shot. It's tilted, it's busy. There's not a lot of tonal separation of the girl/clothes from the background.
