Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
framewater5.jpg

Yeah, that's been done a few times before. I am intrigued more by that solid rock point behind her than I am her holding up the frame...I bet at times there's some good bass fishing where that rock goes underwater...I bet some 3/8 ounce jigs slip-bobbered would work awesome...

Back to the photo...the sky is awfully bright, as is the surface of the lake, and that brightness distracts from the young lady holding up the frame. I wish her hands were holding the frame in a bit more elegant, dainty manner...

Actually, I tried fishing there, and there are SO many rocks under that water. Snag city.

Don't know how to edit the white water or the white sky because....they came out white. -_-

You don't edit it. What you want is to use some flash or maybe a reflector to better expose the subject and the sky.

I'll keep that in mind for next summer, I doubt it looks this pretty at this point in the year. :-P

One tip to watch is avoiding having the backs of the hands showing, especially when close to the face. It makes them look disproportionately
large, almost as big as her face. Pretty gal though - and looks like to nailed the focus on her eyes.

this is true about the hands, didn't know it until you just said something. and that FRAME is giant, it's really bigger than it looks. ill try to daintily wrap my hands around it and find a better way, because i love that frame. and yes, she is as pretty in real person as that picture, pretty pretty girl!

I think her hands look really big pretty distracting. The background really isn't inviting to the eye. Only thing I think you have going for this picture is her face. In regards to how to adjust the sky and water. it will be pretty hard with the whites so blown out There is not detail in sky and part of the water. best thing is in the future look at your cameras histogram and see where your blowing out your colors and adjust your settings.

I'll have to look into that, that's mostly my problem. I really don't know much about my camera and how it works. I mean, I take pictures a lot, experiment a lot, but don't do as much research and learning as I should about the innards of my camera. :er: I need to.

I'd quite like to see her holding the frame vertically, so it would frame more of her hair. Bitter's right, bit of fill in flash and expose more for the water and sky and you're good to go.

Pro shooting in AUTO :er: also looks soft

I think her hands and arms look very out of proportion.
