Unfortunately the sticky does not give accurate instructions, and is missing THE KEY step in how to post. WHat is missing you ask?

and then the image will appear with the post.

So, to recap: you need

with no space between the pg and the [

Thanks for the info guys. I have subsequently uploaded pics in another post. Please feel free to c&c. I want feedback on photos taken with my p&s, so I can learn, grow as a photographer, and then upgrade to a dslr.

By relying on C&C it will take forever to learn how to make a quality photograph. I recommend being more proactive.
