Took a COLD 3 day weekend in Tucson ... a bit of exploring at Mission San Xavier, Colossal Cave Park, etc.

Thanks! I took the kids horseback riding and came across this one. I love Saguaro to begin with and this one was unusual. I was a bit nervous about taking the camera along (I'm no horse expert) but was glad I did -- just put my 50mm f1.8 on to keep things relatively small so they wouldn't bang around ...

I really don't know what I'm doing differently ... I've been shooting alot more lately and maybe that is getting me in the groove which I really have been struggling to get since I got back into photography a couple of years ago.

We had a very light dusting of snow at the house yesterday. Other than lightning storms snow in the desert is my favorite weather event!
