Turtles and Terns

Some more shots from Tiny Marsh. Wasn't sure how the terns would turn since they were out quite a distance in the marsh but these are my first captures of these guys.

Your right. Caspian has black legs and the common has orange. There were several kinds of terns that looked very similar.

Just wish they were a little closer. The black tern was doing a lot of hovering and quick dives into the water trying to catch something. I kept missing on the dives. May go back this Sunday to give it another try.

Nice terns are always nice to see. We never have black ones in the UK.
