At first I thought a Common Whitetail but this has more spots. First shot is the best.

I agree Ron, the second shot I could not get the camera to auto focus on it at all so had to go to manual focus and my eyes through the viewfinder just are not up to snuff anymore. I didnt like the angle either but he was not still very long and I did not know if he would still be there by the time I moved for the full back wing shot.

One of the advantages of living in the country is the ability to just step outside and get some shots. Makes some of the difficulties worthwhile
