Yesterday a Cedar Waxwing flew into our living-room window & unfortunately died.

Today, a Baltimore Oriel did the same but recovered & flew away.

Sad the cedar waxwing didnt make it but I am glad the oriole did. I got home to a dead one outside my patio door a few years ago and still remember that. There are just not enough of them around. A few weeks ago I had a Kingfisher hit the windows hard but recovered and flew away in about 15 minutes. And me acting dumb and not getting a picture.
