nice photos taken during the match, looks like the same two people battling in a tackle, nice work.
My son has just phoned and said his match is off tommorow due to the frost, damn.
i noticed you use a canon 350d, could i ask what setting you used for this shot, was it Custm Function 4, or just the AIServo.

I have a Sigma 70-210mm APO f/2,8 lens so I always use Av mode, and set the f/ to 2.8. Mostly I am able to shoot at 100 or 200, but in the darker winter afternoons I tend to shoot at 800 or 1600.

Focus Al Servo mode with the focus point being the centre.
