Well, they look pin sharp on my screen :thumbup:

I like the expressions on the front riders in both pics. Those guys look like they were going pretty fast so it seems a bit picky to point out that you cut off his foot in the first photo. Looks like a fun day.

My first crop with the first one was this below.
to emphasize the gap, but then it seemed too esoteric.

It may just be my screen but in the crop, the gap looks less than in the first photo. I think it would be a shame to lose the first rider as his expression and stance really show how hard he was working.

Good shots. Original crop. I wouldn't have thought of that. I think the second picture has more to it. Would you crop it for editorial? An 'L' shape crop left and bottom to remove the cone and the half-a-spectator.

Re: the first. Getting the winner working hard in a bike race is always an easy shot; I wanted to emphasize the distance between them.

Re: the second. I was sort of stuck there. There was stuff on the right that took away the isolation of the rider and it was almost in focus. I like to stick to standard aspect ratios and I could have cropped out the spectator but would have had to clone out the orange cone. I didn't put much work into these, tbh, because my pictures here get so little response, I just got lazy - and I shouldn't have, so here it is.
