Dang, those are some of the longest legs I've ever seen on fawns. Looks like you have a bit of room to up the exposure with the shots, but then I'm on the puter here at work so it could be this monitor.

Them legs is what they is! Exposure was dead on in histogram and looks a lot better in Aperture where I processed. I would say most photos I submit look a bit more washed out once I put them in Photobucket, but you are correct, the monitor, angle of view, etc. also affect perception.

All I can say is holy ears...lol
Cute shot!!
Keep shooting!!

Out of curiosity, what were the settings you shot that at? I see a bit of noise in the background. It also looks a bit cold.

Personally, I would've liked to see the whole fawn in the back and for that one to be a little more in focus. Otherwise, I really like the shot!

Home now on the calibrated monitor. Take these up in exposure anywhere from .5 to .75 to bring the whites up to true white and watch them pop getting rid of the ruddy grayish look to them. Tweak the saturation to about +10 and in the end it makes a really nice wildlife portrait.

Beautiful shot! You are so lucky to get close enough and to have them not move to get a great shot!
