I am just back from my anual trip up the east coast to visit family vacation... aka spend as much as a real vacation but go to places that I do not care for with the kids, just to run around and visit all family I possibly can in a week, and be more stressed out then if I was at home.... lol

Here are at least two pictures I have gone through I really like I want to print them on pretty large standouts for my home studio as samples.

1. focal length 31mm iso 400 2.8 1/250

2. focal length 36 mm iso 200 4.0 1/200

I know this is a bit different style that not everyone likes here. I really love this image.

That second image is very sweet. (it is slightly crooked though)It is such a peaceful, airy, happy image.

The second image is so sweet! I love the lighting & I like that you chose to make it B&W, I think it suits this image well! :)

I like them both. Bitter is correct that the second one is lightly askew but that is an easy fix for such a fantastic photo.

I love #2. GJ.

If this was my image I would copy the right window and put it on the left. Then straigthen and center it.

I agree with schetty, symmetry would kick this photo into perfection. Pretty easy fix too :) Nice shot!

Thanks guys! You mean get rid of the plants? yea. I can see that, however, it is my moms passion for gardening that is why I wanted the plants there... she moved to the beach and it is a running joke that she can no longer garden, but she tries inside.

Oh, I disagree about losing the plants! Their drooping lines add to the whole feel of the image, and to lose them would lessen the impact of the image for me.

There's nothing wrong with the first, but absolutely love the second. Very nice shot!

I agree with Bitter, the plant adds some nice aspects to the image. When i look at it (now this is just me and my weird brain here) i feel like the plant is cautiously creeping up on the girl like in a sci-fi movie or something. Adds a bit of a "darkness" factor to it for me, like something drastic is about to happen. When i look at this photo i can see a story play out in my head, thats when i know the image im looking at is awesome. Great job!!

Two good shots but the second one is a really lovely image - the sleeping child looks so content and I love the lighting

I absolutely love #2. The only thing i'd do is straigten the image (it only needs a slight correction, but noticeable against the shutters in the background).

I am in love with #2, I would be over the moon to have a shoot of one of my children like that.
