Two months in. Shooting around. Any tips ?

@zombiesniper thank you for all that info.

I tried really hard to get the right story of how I felt this gated doorway into the waterfall mound. I wanted the doorway to capture a dread, lifeless or bottomless feeling while the outside seems bright and lively. How is the angle here? What could I have done better in post pro to enhance the features I’m thinking ?

Light and dark

So as I was walking around this same waterfall mound thing, I noticed how the light came inbetween the tree and the mound creating dark and light on both sides of the frame. Also, the clouds in the background seemed surreal.

This shot was taken at iso 100 shutter speed 1/50 f/16 at 16 mm useing a wide angle tamron 10-24mm

Do you think it would have been better to using a slower shutter speed to make the water seem less still ? Should I have I dropped down to a better angle ? Left or right more ?

I know this may seem like opinions but I feel as though I missed out on this shot a little comparatively of what I could have made it.
