Both are very nice, but could use a tighter crop.

i'd leave the first shot alone, warm up the second and crop it a little tighter.

By the way, these were taken with the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8. I find it to be a Great portrait lens as far as the focal length

Love shot #1 nice skin tone. #2 seems a little pale to me...

The tree in the background annoys me in #1. The photo may have been slightly more on topic to the subject if you took a step to the left and she too a step camera right. Lovely idea though.
