    Nice images. Shame about the pruning job on #2. It looks so violated.

    It sure does, but I've seen this before. The ficus trees come back beautifully the next year. The gardening crew here does a great job, right down to deadheading roses! BTW, this extreme cutting back is sometimes used on young bonsai trees.

    Wow. Looking forward to seeing a photo of the trees when they’re in full bloom.
