Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I was messing around with light painting the other day, showing it to my 10 Y/o niece, which she liked a lot... everything looked fine on the LCD, but when I got the photos up on the computer I noticed there were pixels, or possibly a cluster of pixels that render as green, red or blue....

I decided to format my memory card in hopes thatd cure it, but I went out tonight and had similar results.... It seems to mainly happen in the darker areas of the image, unless I just cant see it in the lighter portions... anyhow Ill get up pics soon so people can take a look :\

Perhaps a firmware update would take care of it? I have no idea.... I shoot a 7d which I havent updated at all with a new Sandisk UDMA 60mbps 16gb...

"hot pixels" maybe the case.

How long did your expose the photo?

I think it has happened in as little as a 10 second exposure... I just shot tethered straight to the comp. and it still has it....... not good :( time to contact Canon?

Thanks a ton Dao.... Ill get on it tomorrowish... Im just a little down on the hobby as a whole after this :\

Let you know how everything turns out, and Thanks SO MUCH again...

I would contact Canon, regardless that these cameras are designed for high speed shooting, there shouldnt be any issues on the sensor at all. try taking a picture with the shutter cap on and see if there still there.
