Photos NOT OK to edit
It's snowing...big fat fluffy flakes.

And it's thundering and lightning out....I can't say I've EVER seen both of those occur at the same time. It's WEIRD!!!

where are you?

photo opp i say :)

eh...it's dark. And cold. And I'm tired. And I have homework to do. :p

It's not wildly lightning about, anyway...but it did it a few times. And I just heard a small rumble of thunder again.

It happens but not often. I've seen/heard it 3 times in my lifetime. It's rare, but not so rare as to be shocking. Definitely something that could be neat if the snow fall is not so dense you can capture the lightning through it. When I've seen it, the snow was heavy.

The snow is very heavy...heavier than I realized (I just went outside a little bit ago, and was shocked at how much was on the ground already!)

I've been hearing from some of my 'net friends that it's been like this all around the midwest.

It IS shocking to ME!

We called it "thundersnow" in the midwest. I only saw it a few times.

Happened here the other night! First time for me too! I'd have to call it shocking too, I think. ;)

^^^ thats not true. it happens wherever there are elevated unstable layers. the lake effect regions get it frequently...
