I've got to admit, I have the same thought as LilyBee. I'm not sure what I'm meant to be looking at!

Thanks for looking and commenting. I hate trying to explain stuff like this. I'm not even sure I can because there was something that made this composition work for me but I'm not totally certain of what it is. At best I would be trying to guess at some of it. I suppose it's just one of those images that doesn't speak to anyone else.

I see two newspaper vending machines that have tied the knot and are still together

I would have liked it to be shifted just a tiny bit to the right, so we could see where the chain entered the dark machine. We can almost see it, but I want to see it to make the connection between the two objects complete.

And I'm a little distracted by the letters between the two machines because I keep trying to figure out what it says and I can't. At the same time, I kind of like that they're there. It might just be my own touch of neurosis that requires me to figure out what the word says, so take this little nitpick with a big shaker of salt

I like it - I can go with that. I don't know what that is between them, but I suspect it is a sign that partially peeled off one of the boxes. Don't worry, I keep shakers of salt all over the place.
