They all have individual characteristics that make them great. #1 has wonderful detail, #2 has a nice contrast between subject and background. Immediately #3 makes you study all the myriad and various colors in the shot. #4 gives the illusion of movement and #5 looks like a very nice watercolor. I think the last has become my favorite of your group. In my mind, this transforms from a flower to a detail in a lady's neckline of an evening gown with a silver and diamond necklace just out of focus. The solid pastel pink is a beautiful tone and the colors compliment each other very well without being too busy.

I really like "Burst of Color", you need to participate again and get that image out there.

I'm going to participate and decided to keep it to the abstract/artsy stuff. Of the ones posted here, I'm using 4 and 5 and a different version of the last one. Also added a few older photos that are in that same theme that I already have prints of.

Great choices! I like your #3 print, too - bright, colorful, and rendered beautifully. The abstracts you posted here are exceptional.

Just came back from setting up my photos for the art walk! Not really anticipating any "sales" from this, but it does force me to print some of my favorites and to really critique my own work. There were a few photos that I wanted to use that when I took a hard look at they just weren't up to par with some of the others and some that there just wasn't time to get printed in the size and format I wanted.

I've got lots of notes on what I might want to do differently for this event next time. Thanks again to all for your help.

The place has a huge storefront with a lot of windows on 2 sides so had to spread things out a bit more than I would have liked but it looks good. meant to take a few cell phone pics of the windows but forgot. Will do it this weekend when the dog and I walk downtown to see everyone else's stuff!

Oh, wow. That is all really great work there. I hadn't seen that first red 11x14. I really love that one. jeez. You should be really proud of this set.
